What’s he up to these days?

At five months, his schedule is much more active and constantly changing! This is what his days look like now.

7AM Wake up, cuddles, diaper change, feed the animals

Liam plays with Daddy until he leaves for work at 9AM.

9AM feeding

Then he plays on the living room floor and rolls all over the place or plays with his favorite toys.

He gets a diaper change then takes a nap at 10AM and sleeps until 12PM. When he wakes up, I feed him in the rocking chair and read him stories like Polar Express, On the Night you were Born, Bambi, and Lady and the Tramp. Then he gets another diaper change!

We usually go for a walk, go to the park, or do something outside for a little bit. When we come home, he plays with toys and the puppies. We sing songs and have little made-up games we play with each other.

2PM feeding

He takes another nap from 4PM until 6PM (diaper change before and after/eats before and after)

630PM Dinner (avocados)

8PM Daddy gets home and Liam LOVES their special time together.

9PM feeding

930PM bathtime! He plays and splashes around in his tub while I wash him, sing songs, and read him Brown Bear, Brown Bear, Goodnight Moon, and either Dr. Suess or Aesop’s Fables. Then I give him a little lotion massage and put his sleeper on. After, we go around and say Goodnight to all the animals and rooms and turn off the lights (something I picked up from my sister when my nephew was little), then Daddy says Goodnight.

I swaddle and rock my little snuggles to sleep and put him in his crib! Somehow this little guy knows how to find his way into our big comfy bed every night though! 🙂
