DIY Thanksgiving/Turkey Outfits

This cost me under $5 to make!


White, black, orange, red, brown, pink, yellow, and blue felt.

Tan onesie

Brown onesie

Red t-shirt paint

I made two different styles, I couldn’t decide which one I liked better!

Step one:

Paint child’s name at the top of the onesies.

Step two:

Cut turkey faces out of felt. (see below)

Step three:

Cut turkey feathers out of felt using brown, pink, blue, yellow, and orange. (see below)

Step four:

Glue face to front, glue feathers to back. The brown circle face goes on the tan onesie, the eyes and beak go on the brown onesie.

And that’s it! 🙂

If you want to match your little turkey, tie some feathers to a handband like this:

I just used a little yarn and tied it to one of my headbands!

Here is our final product:
